Its signature is a 70-metre infinity edge where the geothermal water appears to pour straight into the North Atlantic, framed by turf-roofed buildings built to echo old Icelandic bathing culture.

What sets Sky Lagoon apart from a straight soak is the Skjól ritual, included with every admission pass. You move through seven stations in sequence: the warm lagoon, a bracing cold plunge, a sauna with a floor-to-ceiling ocean view, a cold mist, a salt-and-oil body scrub, a steam room, and a final return to the lagoon. "The Sky Lagoon was the perfect way to end our Icelandic adventure. After days of exploring, discovering and learning - going to this lagoon to soak it all in was the cherry on top. The staff were friendly, the views were serene and the 7-step experience really helps you feel like you are an “unofficial Icelander.” We easily spent a few hours there relaxing and unwinding. The waterfall was amazing on some sore muscles. The Ser package comes with some additional accommodations which made the experience even more special. 10/10"

"An excellent experience. was the highlight of our trip! my husband has slight mobility issues but he was able to manage comfortably as he was allowed to wear his swim shoes on the way to the shower and beyond. Only the scrubbing salts area and steam room was super slippery for him (not for the rest) but the staff quickly got him a wheelchair for that part of the ritual and all was well. we enjoyed everything so much. The cold plunge was cold but fantastic, the view from the sauna was mind boggling, the staff were super nice. loved it, highly recommend it!"
